AVIAID INTRODUCES DRY SUMP OIL
SYSTEMS FOR MITSUBISHI & SUBARU
CHATSWORTH, CA—Aviaid, the company that pioneered the use of dry sump lubrication in automotive applications, has developed highly effective systems for the Mitsubishi 4G63/4G64 and Subaru EJ20/EJ25 engines. Primary advantages of employing the Aviaid dry sump system is to increase power potential through efficient evacuation of oil from the pan—virtually eliminating windage—and ensuring an ample supply of lubricant throughout a wide range of operating parameters—such as hard cornering, rapid acceleration or fast braking.
Complete kits, including the pump, mounting bracket, oil pan, a special damper, pulleys, belt hose and fittings are available for a variety of uses. A two-stage pump, which is designed to evacuate the oil while the OEM pump handles the pressure side is recommended for normally aspirated engines. For supercharged, turbocharged or nitrous-boosted applications a three-stage pump (two for suction, one for pressure) is offered.
Everything needed to install a dry sump oil system is available from Aviaid, including a full compliment of XRP fittings, braided stainless steel hose, and a variety of aluminum dry sump tanks with mounting brackets.
The company is known for its expertise and ability to provide lubrication solutions for virtually any application. Aviaid manufactures dedicated mounts for over 40 applications, plus has universal plate and swivel-style mounts to cover most anything else.
