NEW “DOUBLE CROSS 16” STEERING
WHEELS FROM INNOVATION ALLEY
Long-time hot rodder and wheel industry veteran Don “Sasquatch” Ripley has gone out on his own and formed Innovation Alley in Clovis, California. The fledgling company’s first offering is a unique steering wheel called the “Double Cross 16.”
The elegant –yet durable—steering wheel features a 15-5/8” diameter billet aluminum ring that is wrapped in black, tan or gray leather and meticulously stitched. The hub is likewise CNC-machined from 6061 billet aluminum, then polished to a high luster. A companion polished billet aluminum horn button comes engraved with a unique “V8” emblem. The 16 spokes are motorcycle-style stainless steel that are also polished. The wheels fit most popular 5-bolt wheel adapters.
A number of available options allow street rodders to customize the “Double Cross 16” steering wheels to their own specifications. These include getting the hub and horn button anodized or powder coated in a wide variety of colors. The horn button can also be custom engraved.
Each “Double Cross 16” steering wheel is individually made to order and hand-assembled in Innovation Alley’s facility. The standard wheel is priced at $499 and available direct from the manufacturer.
