Two systems are designed to use the OEM wet sump pump for pressure, with Aviaid 2 or 3-section pumps employed for scavenging. The “A” system pump has mounting brackets that attach to the cylinder head while the “B” system uses the factory air conditioning bracket. Both use modified LS2 or ARE cast aluminum oil pans. The “C” system mounts directly to the engine block, and has a 3-section pump (2 scavenge, 1 pressure). It can be used for street or racing applications and can use a modified LS2, ARE cast aluminum or Aviaid stamped steel pan. Aviaid’s “D” setup is designed for competition applications and uses 4 or 5-stage pumps to provide the necessary scavenging and oil supply. Sump tank options include 6” or 9” diameter round tanks or an OEM Corvette Z06 tank —with optional internal baffle. Finally, Aviaid developed the “E” system, which is an external wet sump pump that takes the place of the OEM in-pan unit. It provides increased volume and pressure to eliminate the oil starvation in hard cornering that occurs with stock systems. Uses a modified LS2 pan.
