MORRISON "GT-SPORT" REAR CLIPS
FOR FIRST GENERATION CAMAROS
Owners of 1967-69 Camaros can now enjoy significant improvements in handling and acceleration through installing a “GT-Sport” rear subframe assembly from the chassis experts at Art Morrison Enterprises. Enthusiasts can also choose between a triangulated 4-bar or 3-link design with Watts linkage. Both subframes are made from mandrel-formed 2" x 4" tubing, which are substantially stronger than the flimsy stamped steel OEM rails, and are designed to be used in conjunction with the factory gas tank.
The unique 3-link design provides positive location for the 9" rear end housing and resists “wrap” during acceleration. A Watts linkage adds lateral stability, while a special anti-sway bar controls body roll. Adjustable coil-over shocks facilitate fine-tuning the suspension. The mount for the center link bar also serves as a driveshaft loop for extra safety.
A triangulated 4-bar rear subframe also provides improved traction and lateral control, with an anti-sway bar minimizing body roll. The assembly, which includes a 9" housing and adjustable coil-overs, will fit under the stock trunk floor.
Morrison also offers subframe connectors that provide a bridge between front and rear clips for extra chassis rigidity. Complete thirdmembers and axles are also available.
