NEW "BIKINI CLIP" OFFERED BY
ART MORRISON ENTERPRISES

Builders wanting to improve a car’s chassis in stages now have the perfect starting point in the form of Art Morrison’s new “Bikini Clip.” This fixture-welded subframe is designed to be trimmed as necessary to splice into the OEM frame between the front kick-up and core support/bumper mount —not disturbing key factory components. Later, a center brace kit (with exhaust passages) and rear suspension clip can be added.

Morrison’s engineering team has designed an I.F.S. that employs adjustable coil-over shocks and heavy-duty tubular control arms to provide a superior ride, improved cornering capability, and “0” bump steer. It is also available with an Air Spring-Plus or C6 suspension. The heavy-duty spindles are Wilwood/AME design, which are superior to the Mustang II.

Steering is handled by an AGR power rack with a choice of 15:1 or 20:1 ratios, and several different disc brake packages are offered.

The Morrison “Bikini Clip” is a cost-effective solution to the task of upgrading the front suspension on most any vehicle built from the 1940s through 1980s. It has several key advantages over ordinary crossmember kits.
