LAS VEGAS, NV – The highlight of the SEMA Show for Art Morrison Enterprises was being named the 2007 “Business of the Year” by the Hot Rod Industry Alliance council of SEMA. The award, which is based on votes cast by firms involved in the market, is the highest form of peer recognition.

Reflecting on the award, company president Art Morrison said, “I may own the busines, but this award belongs to everyone in the company. The firm, which was founded in 1972, has enjoyed tremendous success in recent years with its bolt-in GT-Sport high performance chassis for Tri-5 Chevys and First Generation Corvettes. Morrison’s “MaxG” chassis, which also employs contemporary front and rear suspensions, is designed to give unibody-style muscle cars a new lease on life. One of Morrison’s strong suits is its in-house engineering, testing, and manufacturing capabilities. Sophisticated Faro-arm equipment enables AME to gather all dimensional data from an existing object (like an OEM car frame) and import it into CAD applications to assure a perfect match. The company’s manufacturing equipment ranges from a massive tube bender to stamping and CNC machine centers.
