Art Morrison Enterprises, the company that set the industry benchmark for performance and quality with its hugely popular GT Sport retrofit chassis for Tri-5 Chevys and C1 Corvettes, now offers its “Max G” chassis for muscle cars with a C6 Corvette front suspension and a 3-link setup with Watts linkage in the rear. It is designed for use in unibody-style cars, where the stock floorboard is removed and body literally dropped onto the chassis.

There are distinct improvements over the OEM chassis in terms of roll control, turning radius, bump steer, and center of gravity that combine to provide immense benefits in handling. Styling is enhanced through a low-slung contemporary stance, made possibly by routing the exhaust system through passages in the frame braces and crossmembers.

Frame rails CAD-engineered for the exact application and desired ride height, and are mandrel-formed from 2” x 4” rectangular tubing and fixture-welded to assure precise alignment of all suspension components. The builder can “hang” the body at most any desired location and need only fabricate the corresponding floorboard.

Steering is handled by an AGR power rack with a choice of 15:1 or 20:1 ratios, a beefy 9” rear end provides a myriad of gearing options, and several different disc brake packages are offered.
