Distinctive 5-spoke modular aluminum racing wheels with special hubs for Porsche applications are now available from Penta Motorsports. These striking wheels are offered in a choice of black or “bronze” hard anodized finish, and can also be special ordered in custom colors. Available rim diameters and widths range from 16x6 to 17x17.

The rim halves are spun from .090" thick 6061-T6 aluminum alloy and have a special “safety bead” that serves to secure the tire. Centers are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet and are of the popular 917-style 5-spoke design.

Wheel sections are mated using 20 chrome moly bolts. These are made by ARP® from 8740 alloy and rated at 170,000 PSI tensile strength.

Penta Motorsports offers the wheels drilled with a 5-on-130mm Porche bolt pattern, or it can be fitted with Center Lock Hubs. Special 7075-T6 billet aluminum hubs attach to the Porsche hubs with stainless steel bolts that also serve as guide pins for the wheel. A large nut, which requires a 3.250" socket, locks the wheel in place on the hub.
