How To Use The E-PR Website

This Website has been designed to allow professional journalists and marketers easy access to promotional information and photography. Please keep in mind that download speeds are directly proportional to bandwidth and modem performance. Many standard Internet connections (phone line + modem) do not allow for multiple file requests at one time. E-PR section overviews are as follows:

NEW PR: This section contains press releases on new products. To use this section simply click on the "NEW" button and you will be forwarded to the index page. All releases are listed alphabetically by manufacturer, and then in order of publication.

VIEWING & PRINTING RELEASES
Browse the new release listing. Once you have selected a press release, click on the title. You will then be viewing the selected release as an HTML document. To print a hard copy, use the "Print" function in your browser software.

RETRIEVING TEXT
To capture text electronically, click on the "Text" icon. Create a target directory named "EPR" on your local drive for the file(s). Name the file(s) and click "OK". When completed, go to your word processor and open the file. All text files are served up as ".TXT" files. They will work with all word processing applications.

RETRIEVING IMAGES
To acquire an image, click on the "Image" icon. Create a target directory named "EPR" on your local drive for the file(s). Name the file(s) and click "OK". The file will then begin downloading to the EPR directory. When completed, go to your image editing application (i.e. Photoshop) and open the file. EPR images are JPEG/ RGB, so you will need to convert them to your desired format (CMYK or Grayscale).

ARCHIVED PR: This section is an archive of all downloadable text and images available on the E-PR Website. In addition to press releases and tech stories, you will find a collection of product photos from various manufacturers reflecting their most popular items. The archive is organized alphabetically by manufacturer, and then in order of release.

Browse the E-PR archive listings. Once you have selected a file, click on the title. You will then be viewing the selected item as an HTML document. To print a hard copy, use the "Print" function in your browser software.

EPR images are JPEGs (at lowest compression/ highest quality) in RGB at 300ppi, so you will need to convert them to your desired format (CMYK or Grayscale).

TECH ARTICLES: This section contains feature material such as "How To" stories, tech tips and other filler material relating to various automotive topics. Technical articles are listed by title and a brief description. Once you have selected a topic, click on the title. You will then view the selected article. To print a hard copy of the material, just use the "Print" function in your browser software.

RACERS: This section contains biographical and technical data on race cars, drivers and crew, as well as photographs. They are listed in alphabetical order by driver's name (including car photos, crew members, etc.).
